The Bag Storr began as a design exercise that slowly turned into a brand. Not from the idea that style alone builds a good accessory, but from the belief that a bag should first make sense in the way it is used.
Much like good tailoring, the balance lies in proportion. A shape that holds its structure. Compartments placed where they are actually needed. Materials chosen for durability rather than novelty. Every design comes after long hours of studying colour, form and practicality until the pieces feel considered rather than decorated.
The aesthetic stays minimal, but never quite to the point of disappearing. Soft tones are often balanced with deeper colours, creating contrast that allows the structure of the bag to stand out.
Many of the silhouettes draw from classic forms that are less common today. The intention is simple. Pieces that feel composed, functional and familiar enough to live with for years.
At its core, The Bag Storr designs bags and wallets meant to move easily through daily life, without asking for attention yet never feeling ordinary.
From The Inside:
I grew up assuming design was something I'd get to eventually. Then college ended, I came home, and eventually turned out to be now. The Bag Storr is a family business, but the next chapter of it is mine - the collections, the design decisions, the direction. Outside of this, I travel to small towns more than big cities, I play badminton in intervals and have learned that a rough start doesn't mean much as long as you keep showing up, and I photograph ordinary things because ordinary things are usually the most interesting. That habit of looking closely is probably why I care so much about how a bag is made.
