The idea behind Hold More. Say Less. is rather straightforward.
“Hold More” speaks to everything a bag is asked to do: carry more, adapt to the day, hold its shape, and make life easier. “Say Less” is about restraint. We don't believe good design needs to compete for attention. Proportion, material, colour and construction can create character without excess.
It is, in many ways, the philosophy behind The Bag Storr: Function With a Point Of View.

We are particular about bags.
About a canvas having the right weight. About a handle sitting properly on the shoulder. About a tote keeping its shape without becoming rigid. About putting a pocket where you will actually use it, rather than where it looks good on paper.
Our designs begin with familiar silhouettes, but we rarely leave them untouched. We look at proportion, scale and the way a bag is actually carried, then refine the details until the shape feels right.
Colour is treated much the same way. We tend towards shades that have a life beyond one season - soft neutrals, deeper tones, and the occasional contrast that brings out the structure of the bag. We are interested in trends, of course, but not particularly interested in designing around them.
Growing up around textiles has made us equally particular about fabric. Its weight, finish, texture and the way it falls or holds its shape can change an entire design.
The result is a collection that feels familiar without feeling predictable. Classic without being stuck in the past. Designed to be used now, and still make sense years from now.
We'd rather make something you keep reaching for than something you replace when the season changes.
